Bo Vaughan is a native of Richmond, VA and forward-thinking health care strategist with a track record for optimizing patient outcomes, improving the delivery of care, enhancing the patient experience while minimizing cost.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, he has led schools, hospitals, and businesses to strategize on how best to mitigate the spread and impact of COVID-19 on their communities. While caring for our nation’s veterans, he reinvigorated running Infectious Diseases clinical trials at Richmond’s 1A – VA Medical Center through his role as local site investigator in the VA-CURES-1 COVID-19 Convalescent Plasma Trial as well as the ACTIVE 4A-Acute trial, studies designed to offer novel therapies to combat the consequences of severe COVID-19.
In May 2022, he accepted a position as Medical Director for Clinical Research Partners, LLC where he will be overseeing multiple clinical trials in the medical subspecialties. He also serves as Infectious Diseases Medical Director for CRP’s sister company, Infusion Solutions, a company that has provided thousands of much needed COVID-19 monoclonal antibodies to high-risk patients starting in March of 2021. He currently lives in Midlothian with his wife, Dr. Amanda B. Vaughan, and two children.
